Restaurant Review - Unity Ramen - Hong Kong

One of the richest soup base ramen!

Impression

Accidentally running to this place for their ramen haha. Why "accidentally"? Because I have no intention to visit this place as I was randomly walking around, seeing what to buy in the nearby markets and suddenly got attracted by its entrance. So here I am.

Although coming without much expectations, the item here has surprised me a lot. The ramen in crab meats (HKD 108) has done everything in the absolutely right way - from the soup base, to the texture of the ramen, to the soft-boiled egg, to the sliced pork and to its overall presentation. When each elements are being evaluated, I can hardly find a single aspect to complain even if I intended to dig deep. The exceptionally excellent part are the super rich soup base - probably one of the richest I have ever had, also the perfectly grilled sliced pork with the right amount of fat, as well as the incredibly fresh crab meats. Oh, the portion is generous too. Umm, and the soft-boiled egg is so delicious haha.

Meet and Exceed? 

It is pleasant enough simply knowing the fact that the boss are the ones whose very passionate in making ramen and decide to open a shop by himself, AND he is down-to-earth enough to present in the store almost daily handling everything from the kitchen to the washroom. This bowl of ramen allows me not only taste the freshness of the ingredients, but also the passion put into making this one. Every aspects have been well handled with care, letting us conclude that nothing we could possibly complain about it. Well, a surprisingly good one!
