Souvenirs Review - Miss Cookie Taiwan - Kaohsiung (Taiwan)
All natural homemade tarts with no weight concern.
Impression
Since the bakery was not located near my residency, I have ordered this box online and it has been sent to me directly with no hassle. Without too many fancy design, the box came with two hand-written cards and the individual sealed package.
The Assorted Tarts - Four Flavors (NTD 350) includes all of their signature tarts - Macadamia Tart, Cashew Tart, Nuts Tart, and The Almond Chocolate Tart. All the ingredients are able to hold together thanks to the generous amount of honey and it added an extra natural sweetness to the tart. The crust was crispy and light in flavor - you can taste there was not too much butter added.
This Almond Chocolate Tart is the absolute star. Unexpectedly, the bitterness of the cocoa was earthy - not sweet at all, and the chopped almond on top gave a light kick.
Wrap up
The thing I most appreciated is that the filling is full of real nuts with no bs. Nothing has been added just for stacking up the filling to make it look nicer. It was hard to fault it for the price. If you are travelling to Taiwan and thinking about what to buy other than pineapple tarts, give these little tarts a try.Miss Cookie Taiwan // 886-07-740-5481 // https://www.misscookietw.com/
