Believe it or not, I do agree the best burgers do not necessarily need meat. That's fine if you like the meaty texture but bear in mind "the meaty texture" can be made of meatless ingredients too. Personally I am a fan of burger but not some hard-core-meaty-burger, so am always happy to try meatless ones.

This take-away place offers at least 7 different types of vegan burgers. If you are not in the mood for one, they provide pasta and salad as well, pricing from around HKD 55 to HKD 70.

This Black Giant (HKD 68 set with a drink) has an eye-catching appearance - its black skin. It does not taste any different from the original one though. The burger has been wrapped quite tightly as it was a take-away order, so the presentation was not really ready-for-camera. Anyways, it did not taste like beef and it was not an issue for me. It was moisture and a bit squishy - together with the mushrooms, tomato, mayo sauce, vegan cheese, kale and some black olives (and the price), I give it a thumbs up.

For an extra treat for myself, I have also order a Goji Peach Gum Dessert (HKD 18). Sprinkled with some bright yellow dried flowers (I guess), it was an absolutely healthy dessert with the large amount of excellent ingredients like goji and peach gum.

Wrap up

No hesitation if you want to grab a quick lunch - it took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. The burger itself was fulfilling enough if you are thinking to skip the fries, not a problem. I would recommend the dessert as it was really a hit!
