Restaurant Review - Bigger Burger Cafe

Comfy spot for some good-value burgers and fries.

Located near the Jordon MTR station, as the name suggested, the cafe specialized in making Western burger as well as other quick bites.

The design is very much American-styled, with some 80s classic CDs hang on the wall and pop songs playing in background.

Honey Lemon and Sour Cream Chips (HKD36) came first as a starter. Crispy and fresh fries but the sauce was being served as cold which is a bit weird.

Here's the hit. This Foie Gras Beef Burger (HKD128) has wowed us not only because of its presentation but also the generous amount of ingredients used. Look how thick the foie gras is! Both the beef and the foie gras have been cooked just right - but it would be better if it served hot.
As an avocado fan, I also particularly enjoyed the guacamole spread under the sliced tomato.

The proof that the beef is being cooked just right.πŸ˜‹

Tiger Prawns in Garlic and Chili (HKD68) is another surprise. 4 big prawns in slightly sour garlic oil gives us a sense of freshness. It is not really spicy in fact. The sauce itself would be a good match with fries too (I think).

Okay this one is a miss. Avocado and Chicken Burrito with Fries and Tomato Salsa (Lunch set HKD58 with Daily Soup and Drink) is kind of too casually made. The burrito is not freshly wrap and you can see the meat is being tightly stick with the burrito. And the core problem is, NO CHICKEN SKIN please! The chicken is still with its skin on and I do not find it appealing...

Wrap up

Give it a go if you are looking for a good-value cafe for some burgers and fries. I would not recommend the lunch set - go for the main menu which provides better quality of dishes.
