Hotel Review - Lee's Hotel - Kaohsiung (Taiwan)

Impression

Located in the prime location - less than 10-minute walk from the closest station - Lee's Hotel is a hidden gem for art lovers. As a five-star hotel (certain sources said it is four-star though?), it has successfully created a living space full of aesthetic and cultural ambience, you can always encounter antiques, paintings and other art works in the lobby, hallways and even inside the hotel room.

This time we stayed at the superior room for 2 persons. The room was cozy, neat and tidy. I particularly enjoyed the high ceiling! It felt more spacious too.



There were 2 complimentary bottled water everyday.



As expected, you would be surrounded by a number of art works, in the hallways and corridors.

There's a bar next to the restaurant. If you fancy a drink at night, do drop by.

Let us have a quick walk of the indoor swimming pool (Caribbean).

Because of the limited time, I did not have the chance to showcase my skills in swimming (kidding, I am poor in exercising). But the private environment could seemingly be a relaxing spot for some exercising.

Wrap up

One thing to mention is their high level of service provided. To be honest, I did come across lots of so-so service in hotels in Taiwan, but for this one, I do appreciate. For example, when I asked about some more detailed question (via their social media platform) of the hotel before checking in, they were efficient in responding in good manner. It seems trivial, but it did mean something. Of course, the experience of living in a "art gallery" is such an experience in Kaohsiung - the only one in the city.
