Restaurant Review - Fuhn - Hong Kong

Impression

Though I visited this place alone the other day, I still did not shy away from ordering this Special Beef Fuhn (HKD 108) in Large size (which is 30% larger than the original portion). So you can imagine how big my belly is lol. How "special" is it? Basically it served with Rare Steak, Brisket, Beef Ball, Tendon, Flank & Tripe. Out of these few toppings, my favourite goes to the Tendon - with its unique chewy texture that has been carefully separated from the meats. Especially when this bowl of noodles perfumed with the spices below, it tastes even more authentic and fresh. Few more limes, please!

Meet and Exceed?

The simple but fresh soup base is definitely lovely, nothing fancy or dramatic but you could feel the comfort (no MSG) even after swallowing a big spoonful; on the other hand, it was full of colors when it comes to the toppings and the quality of ingredients used. Such North American-style is not commonly seen here - especially with such a wide variety of choices on the menu. I am glad that I have decided to come up and give it a try, seriously satisfying!
