A must-not-miss for steak lovers

Impression

We have been knowing this place long enough to the point that we have been thinking about visiting all the time haha. As meat lovers, we always pay attention to the most classic dish of all time, yet with simple ingredients - steak. As long as the ingredients and cooking method is right, nothing could go wrong simply with salt and pepper, without fancy sauces. Not a lot of places is capable of doing these though.

The only dinner set they served (HKD 318 per person, with 10% service charge) comes with a basket of freshly baked bread with (homemade) butter. In my opinion, it is always good to have something warm in our stomach before beginning the feast! Served warm and it felt so good to enjoy this crispy bread.

Afterwards, we were served this Green Salad with Walnut is a great one with olive oil as the dressing, which is relatively light. The portion size is enough for us to intake some fibre and the nuts were so lovely.

So here's the charm! Here's with 3 portions, and all were grilled perfectly at medium rare/rare. We would say the rare is the best - with a deep red centre and super tender in terms of the texture. It tasted excellent on its own, easily one of the finest steak we have ever had in Hong Kong, seriously. The time spent on the grilling and the amount of seasoning were nothing more than needed. On the side are the dipping sauce for the steak and the all-you-can-eat fries, but we found them unnecessary as the items themselves are flavourful enough. After the bread, salad, steak and fries, we also gave the dessert cart a try - not pictured here but for sure we would recommend it!

Meet and Exceed?

Nothing has let us down during the night - including the environment, the service and of course the meal itself. We always love places that focus only on few or, in this case, one particular dish that enables the team to refine and emphasize on one thing, instead of few and a lot - that easily get distracted and turned out nothing's good. That's why we said this is for sure a must-not-miss place for steak lovers, you will not be disappointed!
