I think no one could ever disagree this place is one of the must-go for tourists around the world to visit for local-styled desserts. As a local, it's a bit shameful to say we do not come here very often, maybe, well, once every two years? lol Still, we love this place and enjoy a lot for its focus on steamed milk products. Quality is of high consistency and no wonder it becomes one of the signature desserts in Hong Kong.


This time we have ordered 3 different kinds of steamed milk, including Steamed Milk with Lotus Seed (HKD 42), Steamed Milk with Ginger (HKD 37) and Double Layer Milk Pudding (HKD 36). No doubt, the steamed milk warms our stomach in winter time. Out of these 3 bowls, we would say the Double Layer Milk Pudding is the best; where as the one with lotus seed is too sweet with less-than-expected amount of extra toppings. All of these could be in warm or cold, with the same price.


Meet and Exceed?

In addition to Hong Kong, there are an outlet in Macau too. If you ever wonder, in fact there are also abundant choices for savory items on the menu - all are classic Hong Kong-styled dishes including fried egg macaroni, ham and egg toast, beef noodles etc. Definitely not a problem if you crave for something more than some sweets. For the steamed milk we ordered, we would say the level of sweetness is a bit high - though it does not change the respect we have for us due to its lasting reputation in creating this positive image on milk desserts.
