Restaurant Review - Pokeworld (Updated) - Hong Kong

A spot for quick Japanese salad sushi roll take-away.

Well, I did not realize it is already the third time coming here for their lunch salad set. Last time the sliced white ginger was out of stock which brought slight disappointment to me... Well, they came back haha! This topping is so crucial that it brings the whole salad to another level - as not a lot of salad places provide this option. It was quite rare and I enjoyed this uniqueness. The whole box costs HKD91, ummm, not super economical but worth a try because of their freshness.

Coming here for the second time, and this time we have tried the salad bowl instead of the sushi roll. The Protein we chose are Tofu and Chickpea which came with quite a large portion. Also, we have picked 2 additional toppings including Sweet Corn (HKD 6) and Shiitake Mushroom (HKD 8) that both have successfully spiced up this fresh salad bowl.

There are few Free Veggies that we have for sure chose "All in", which include Scallion, White Ginger (but it's out of stock today), Furikake, Cucumber, Daikon Sprout, Sesame, Onion and Dried Seaweed. Quite a full bowl with lots of guilt-free nutritious. We would recommend grabbing a drink too!

Impression

It makes me feel energized whenever I see the colorful salad bar. I am not sure why but I think the bright colors make people feel happy and energetic. Once you stepped into this little place, you could see a long, rectangle-shaped salad bar with lots of meats and plant-based ingredients.

A base, which could be Sushi Rice, Salad, Sushi Roll, Soba Noodles, (HKD 85) included 2 portions of protein, sauce and some fillings. This time I have chosen Sushi Roll as base. Every single ingredients I chose were vegan, including onion, chickpea, tofu, sesame, ginger and beans. The additions of the ginger was nice and unexpected. The roll was large enough to fill your belly I am quite sure.

Wrap up

Each one is made to order but the staff was efficient enough to get your roll ready in 10 minutes. So it would be a good choice if you are looking for a quick grab. Additionally, I saw there were some not-so-common ingredients, for example, salmon belly which I think would be quite interesting to add in the lunch box.
