Restaurant Review - Santgria Kitchen - Hong Kong




Time for some sirloin steak!



Impression 

This should be the second time visiting this place. It is located in somewhere in the middle of this busy district, and there are not a lot of similar restaurants nearby. Even so, the environment here was quite romantic with the right decorations. Even without fancy design, it gives you the feeling of comfy comfy. Last time we have ordered some salads and pasta, and this time when I was here alone, I decided to try some more meats!


Before everything, the starter came first. The Mixed Vegetables Soup and the Bread was complimentary together with the dinner set. They both taste average without much wow factors. But it's alright as we came here not aiming for the starters.


Here comes to my date - USA Angus Sirloin Steak (9oz; HKD188). It was medium rare and the meat has been cooked to perfection! Very juicy and there's not much fat on it. A good one! The portion was even more huge than what I expected. It was very fulfilling even if you have a moderate belly haha. Also the side dishes were quite colorful and gave a balance to the large amount of fat.


The Baked Cream & Cheese Mushroom (HKD 58) has exceed my expectations with its generous portion of mixed mushrooms and the quality cheese. Sometimes, the sauce was dominated by the huge amount of white sauce without much so-called cheese - but for this one, there are a lot of real cheese and it was very cheesy!

Meet and Exceed?

The price setting was not very economical I have to say, so coming here with certain level of expectations towards every aspect is a natural thing. Overall, the items that I ordered this time have met my expectation but somehow if some more efforts in presenting the dishes would be appreciated. The service level provided is good and the environment is quite suitable for couples and family too!
