Restaurant Review - Aidan Korean Dessert Cafe - Hong Kong

Cheesy Korean dishes!

Impression

Long queue! The queue was really long when we arrived at the place on a weekday night! We did try to reserve a table on that morning; however, we were told that it was full house already so only walk-in is available. Fortunately, we were being arranged a seat after roughly 15-minute of waiting. And we ordered all our desired items efficiently haha.

This is one of the most popular food items in this place - Fried Chicken Bread with Lava Cheese (HKD 128). The portion was generous. Even the size has been shown in the menu, it was still a surprise when it arrived lol. The cheese bread bowl was huge with mozarella cheese and cream sauce. No guilt no guilt. We have finished the salad veggies too haha. The taste of the fried chicken has hit another level when they have been dipped into the cheesy sauce. So satisfying!

The Stone Pot Bibimbap (HKD 78) was a lighter choice. As expected, it was crazily hot when it was served. You need to be quick enough to keep stiring it to avoid the ingredients being over-cooked. My eating was not as quick as the temperature holds, so I took out a large part of them to make them more manageable. Just a personal preference. All the veggies were being cut in a neat fashion and in a fresh stage. We enjoyed this stone pot during a cool night.

We did not forget to order a snack for ourselves. This Balsamic Roasted Pork Meat (HKD 48) was a delight. Since it was a pork meat, it did not taste like ordinary pork chop - it was rather soft and tender in terms of the texture. The sauce was another highlight of this dish as the sourness of it has make this dish more unique.

Meet and Exceed?

The food items provided here were more than the authentic Korean dishes - they were rather more creative and suits the taste of the diners in Hong Kong. The popularity of this place could be easily understood because of its wide variety and creativity. You could easily pick your dishes here as the choices are really a lot on the menu. The desserts here look attractive too, if you ever come to this place, give it a try and let me know!
