Restaurant Review - Golden Prince Thai Restaurant - Hong Kong

Surprisingly good Thai lunch!

Impression

I was being introduced to this place several times before and this time (finally) coming here during lunch hour to give it a try! Interestingly, this place has occupied few flats, with a little bit difference in interior styling but serving same food at the same central kitchen (same chef), and of course, opened by the same person. So you do not need to concern about which one to go as they are basically the same.

The Hainan Chicken Rice in Thai Style with Rice (HKD 42) was so much better than I expected! Awesomely tender texture with generous portion being presented in a neat way. One of the most tender chicken I have ever had, seriously. Also, the rice was very flavourful because of the chicken oil, and it did not taste heavy at all. The spicy sauce that came along was a good match with the chicken and the rice. Oh, all lunch sets come with a bowl of soup too.

Meet and Exceed?

Undoubtedly, it was a total surprise to have such amazing lunch with an affordable price. This place, I could say, is a must-go and a must-go-again for myself. It was not locate in a particularly "charming" place with tons of marketing going on, but certainly deserve more attention in the diners group regarding to its products. I may not in the position to judge it serves the most authentic Thai dishes or not, but definitely have my back!
