Restaurant Review - Kong Kee Noodles - Hong Kong

Very economical local noodles!

Impression

To be honest, I was not very familiar with this district and so as its eateries. Just my personal impression - there is not a lot of restaurants nearby and most of the stores were not food related. Anyways, I came here for business issues and later decided to look for some super local places to enjoy my lunch. The place was not spacious but who cares? I would not say the place was very crowded but it was almost always around 80% full.

Three ingredients here, including Beef (HKD 10), Mushroom (HKD 6) and White Carrots (HKD 5) with Rice Noodles (HKD 9). I cannot really think of other lunch set that costs less than this one (whereas feeling full enough). Everything was within expectations. The mushroom was particularly outstanding as they have been seasoned in the right way and quite soft. You could ask for some garlic and green onions to sprinkle on top too.

Meet and Exceed?

Absolutely a good deal. As mentioned, it was one of the most economical lunch set I have ever had while feeling satisfied with the portion and the quality. Sometimes food could be cheap, but the same goes to the quality. For this one, you would not feel it happens. Quick serving speed, economical lunch, not-too-inconvenient spot, not-too-crowded seats, what's more you could ask for?
