Restaurant Review - Ring's Coffee - Hong Kong

To satisfy my avo-addiction...

Impression

I came here alone on a weekday lunch hour. I was attracted to this place because there is not many similar ones nearby, as well as its unique wooden-chic interior style. It was really famous on their quality coffee so once you stepped into the place, you can sense a strong flavour of coffee. Coffee lovers? Time to go!

A light lunch was desired so I have ordered this Kale Salad Bowl (HKD 75). No joke, the presentation of the avocado was really amazing and somehow I did not want to eat them as a whole to "destruct" it, but slice by slice haha. The soft-boiled egg was not that "soft" which disappointed me slightly. The vinegar source was a bit more sour than I expected. Overall, the toppings used were fresh and matched well with each other.

Meet and Exceed?

It was a pity that there's not other chances for us to try other items on the menu this time. From a quick look of it, the items are more specialized with the focus on light meals and most of them look so attractive to us too. The coffee menu has been developed quite sophisticated with lots of not so commonly-seen choices that were tempting. We appreciated that the staff were very well-educated on the details of the coffee items that gave the diners enough confidence for recommendations and explanations.
