Restaurant Review - Grassman - Hong Kong

Special grassy-place with tasty food!

Impression 

In fact, this place has long been in my to-try-place list because of its unique environment - very grassy. I guess the owners aim to create a natural and comfortable surroundings for the diners to enjoy the food while we can imagine we are outside, maybe in the forest (lol), as an inspiration. Anyways, the environment is no doubt as important as the food items themselves.

The Cheese & Meat Balls (HKD 66) came first and it was being presented in a petite way. The meatballs were quite juicy with tender meats. I would suggest more cheese on the top to make it more aligned with the name of this dish. On the other hand, I appreciate how they pair some toasts at the side since they matched very well with the meatballs (its juiciness!).

The portion of Chicken & Cheese Quesadillas (HKD 92) was slightly smaller than I expected because of its price setting. Do not get me wrong - it was fulfilling enough, after all, there were three quesadillas stuffed with lots of chicken and cheese. The ingredients have all been seasoned in the right way and did not feel heavy at all even I have already had two dishes full of cheese haha.

Meet and Exceed?

The most unforgettable part of this place for me is still the surroundings. It gives you a wow feeling once you step into the place. The comfy-ness provided does not like others; while some focus on the girly flowery side, this one is more on the natural side. For the food items, they were all good with enough efforts in creating tasty dishes - just more attention can be put in terms of the portion to live up to the expectations given the price setting.
