Restaurant Review - Hami Harmony - Hong Kong

A chilling and comfy lunchtime.

Impression

We came here during lunch hour on a weekday where the place was not that crowded and we were being arranged to sit next to the main window. There were around six items on the menu for us to choose from and we might prefer slightly more vegetarian options. Neat and tidy was our first impression about the environment.

The lunch which came first was the Parma Ham Garden Salad (HKD 72). As the name suggested, there were around two to three slices of parma ham that have been very casually put in the salad bowl. I would say more efforts can be put in brushing up its presentation. Some purple onion, slices cucumber, cheese, cheery tomatoes, a handful of herbs and a batch of veggies have been added into the bowl. We enjoy the slightly sour vinegar sauce which tasted refreshing. It was slightly over-priced though.

The other one was Molten Cheese Croissant All Day Breakfast (HKD 98). There were caramel banana, smoked salmon, veggies, a sausage, two cheese croissant and black truffle sauce with fried egg. The quality of all these were good and within our expectation. The caramel banana was particularly special and quite tasty. Having some fruits on the breakfast plate is decent. Apparently the cheese croissant was the highlight but we did not find it very appealing. Again, we agreed that it was slightly over-priced with the given portion.

Meet and Exceed?

We enjoyed the thoughtful details about the interior decorations that gives the diners a European-styled environment to dine in. For the dishes provided, we expect "lunch set" would mean a drink or a bowl of soup is included; if not, a larger portion of the food items would be a solid reason for us to come back again, or simply to give it a try for the dinner set.
