Restaurant Review - Lab 10 - Hong Kong

Korean dishes with reasonable price!

Impression 

We came here during lunch hour and it was interesting to see that there was a Juice Bar outside the place. It was not too commonly seen and we appreciated how chic and stylish the design is. We did not have the chance to give the products a try unfortunately, but would be keen to check it out next time! Somehow, we were attracted by the chemistry-feeling of its name "Lab" haha.



The Kimchi Tofu Soup (HKD 48) is always a must order for me whenever I go to Korean restaurants. This one is no doubt one of the best ones! Be careful, it was super hot! The portion of the ingredients were generous and the kimchi was not as spicy as we thought which is a good thing. It was a perfect dish to pair with rice or noodles as it was quite flavouful.

The Eel Fried Rice Bibimbap (HKD 88) did not disappoint us too. The texture of the eel was so tender with and yummy. It would be awesome if the portion could be larger! The rice was again served warm and as you can see, the sprinkled green onion has made this one more colourful. We were so full after finishing these two sets. y the way, all lunch set includes a drink and we have ordered the yuzu tea which was for sure a comfort drink for us.

Meet and Exceed?

We both agree that this place is quite a comfortable place to enjoy the meal, seats are spacious with good lighting and decent presentation of the dishes. We particularly like how much variety they have given for the diners to choose from in the Korean dishes. However, the quality of service provided was not as expected - raising our had for at least two times for refilling our cup of water, and the staff did not seem to be very familiar with the menu. To conclude, we were all good except the service here and we believe it would not take long before having a positive change in this aspect.
