Restaurant Review - Bryan L Burger - Hong Kong

The super Cheesy stone pot rice!

Impression

Not long ago, we have found that there are a growing number of places opening in this district. Though it's still a "desert" - crowded with industrial building, few residential housing estates and some boring stores, in our opinion, we did visit some places that worth recommending and here's one of them.

Here's the one and only place which served this special Stone Pot Rice. There are three steps in ordering this one - first is to choose the main. Here we have chosen the Housemade Beef Burger Steak (HKD 60); second is to choose the flavour of the egg. Here our choice is the crab roe egg - a bit disappointed that the portion of the crab roe was actually quite little but anyways; and the last step is to see if you would like to add one more portion of Cheese. As someone who loves cheese so much, we have decided to add one more (additional HKD 8). So the below platter was served before the hot stone rice.

In action! It was being served super hot, so we were suggested to firstly add the egg, then the cheese, and at last the seaweed. Very quickly, we have combined the crab roe egg with the rice and putting all the cheese on top as well. We fried them at once; otherwise it would be over-cooked and affected the taste of it. It was delicious, especially after the seaweed was also there. Super cheesy with all the flavour that in place. The burger steak was not as tough as we expected but for sure we can taste its freshness and the added herbs.

Next, we did not forget to order a burger too! This Portobello Mushroom Veggie Burger (HKD 32 for Single) includes Mushroom, Cheese, Lettuce, Red Onion and Tomato. We admitted that its appearance needs to be freshen up, but actually it tasted good! The bun has been carefully grilled with butter, making it quite crispy in the inside. The veggies have been placed very casually, but actually they are much fresher than some of the so-called legit Western burger places! Just want to tell you that even if you would like to opt for some non-meaty option, this one is great too.

Meet and Exceed?

There are so many highlights in this place, including the burgers (as the name of the restaurant suggested), stone pot rice as well as the Japanese don. It is definitely good to show diners that they are good at creating a wide variety of dishes and offered many choices; whereas it lost our focus when we were trying to pinpoint a certain type of dish to order and give it a try. Do pardon us if we are being mean; still, we absolutely satisfy with our lunch sets and had a happy belly!
