Restaurant Review - Hami Harmony (Updated) - Hong Kong

This Canada Hamburger Porte in Gravy Sauce with French Fries (HKD 128) was average. The hamburger was not particular impressive, due to its dry texture, lack of the taste of meat and only the saltiness. I would expect it to be a bit more juicy. However, the fries were good, without being too oily though they are freshly fried. Um, I would also expect a drink is included for this lunch set, cold or hot, since the bill was over HK140.

A daily soup did include in all the lunch sets - this one is the Pumpkin Cream Soup. An average one that you would forget completely after the meal.

Impression

Okay, so what to do if you would like to drop by a place to feed your belly with tasty lunch? Haha. This time I came to this place and this is around my third time coming here. The lunch menu looks different (except their classic All-day-breakfast) and I like how they put a vegetarian option there. There are in totals 7 choices on the lunch menu and it is served til 5pm!

Here comes to the Seasonal Salad (additional HKD 8) which is a good starter with this small bowl of fresh veggies. The cheese put on top served as a good topping to add some more flavours to it. The dressings used here was relatively light, not as strong as those we come across usually.

Among the seven choices, this Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti in Salty Egg Yolk Cream Sauce (HKD 88) has caught my eyes because it's a creative one! To get along with the Hong Kong diners, sometimes we need to follow the trend and combine the seemingly un-traditional ingredients to the dish lol. This is a perfect example and I do appreciate their effort. The sauce was less creamy and thick as I thought but this is totally okay. I enjoy this light version too. The crab was a bit oily and small in size - still, it's been made freshly and the texture of it was great.Pardon my weird request that I have asked the chef to separate the sauce from the crab and the spaghetti - so that I could get a real taste of it! That's why if you order this item, everything will be combined into this one plate instead of this.

Meet and Exceed?

The place is cozy and has been well-decorated with Christmas-themed accessories. The Christmas songs playing at the background makes you feel so delight when enjoying the dishes haha. No matter the dinner sets or the lunch sets, the quality of these Western dishes are able to maintained with reasonable price, and this is the reason I came back again. By the way, all the lunch sets came with soup or a cup of hot tea; and do note that there's 10% service charge for lunch hour too.
