Restaurant Review - Hands-on Coffee - Hong Kong

Chilling cafe in the busy district

Impression

I for sure did not know there's low key cafe in this building (but thanks to the Internet haha) even for me who come to this district quite often. After seeing the recommendations online, I decided to give it a try, visiting this place for their lunch set.

This Chef's Salad (HKD 88) is on the all day menu instead of the lunch menu. I was looking for some salad and there isn't any on the lunch menu, so I look for it else where. Anyways, the portion of this one was huge. Instead of a lot of fresh veggies, mixed nuts, beetroot, strawberry, cherry tomatoes, quinoa, pumpkin and Radish have been added. Wide variety of ingredients, making this salad not boring at all! My favourite one would be the roasted pumpkin, serving warm and super soft. They are being grilled with the perfect amount of time and super delicious. The only thing is the vinegar dressing was a bit too much, causing this item a bit too sour. Other than that, perfect!

Meet and Exceed?

This place has been well designed with details decorations on the wall and ceiling. The half open kitchen allows the diners to have a closer look of the chef and barista. This time I was being arranged to sit near the window so I was facing the street instead of the kitchen - a different angle and still feeling good. Simply enjoying a coffee here would be a good idea too.
