Restaurant Review - Seansin Seafood Hotpot Experts - Hong Kong

Excellent hotpot night!

Impression

Temple Street is a famous place in Hong Kong and is a must-go place as a tourist. You could experience very local culture as well as local food here. We have visited this place which located quite close to the Temple Street. We were attracted by its emphasis on freshness when preparing the ingredients and the soup base.

We have ordered the Blaze Mushroom with Melon Soup (HKD 98) as base this time. We were given a set of different seasonings to choose from once we were being seated.

The presentation of this Cuttlefish balls with Sweet potato (HKD 78) is cute! I like how consistent their size is haha. The texture of it was nothing less than we expected.

And as you can see in the picture below, in the middle there are some yellow sweet potato! And as the name suggested, it was so sweet haha.



The Deep Fried Fish with Spicy Salt (HKD 58) was a hit - it was as crunchy as we expected and the flour used was minimum. We could imagine how skillful the chef needs to be to make this dish so simple and delicious at the same time. Impressive!

The Fried Garlic Beef (HKD 68) was another surprised. They were cooked to perfection - around 70% done. The meat was a bit chewy with little but not too much fat. The seasonings were not too strong or salty, and the deep fried sliced garlic have definitely level-up the game!

Wrap up

There were other dishes that we ordered without being captured here as the above are just some highlights. It's such a pity that our tummy has limited space that we were not able to try more food here - there are abundant choices that we were very keen to try as well! I do appreciate their effort in providing excellent service and food. In general, the portion of each dishes could easily feed two hungry souls, the price was incredibly good value. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to dine in!
