Impressed by all the homemade sauce!

There are plenty of healthy quick-to-go places in this district as the demand from the tons of offices nearby are huge. What attracted me to this place is that they are not merely selling raw and salad meal, but they are dedicated to make everything from scratch including the sauce (even the common ones), instead of using the pre-made one.



They have some Homemade Lemongrass and Ginger Lemon Drink (HKD 10) which was so fresh and light. The drinks are homemade every day in its kitchen, to ensure the quality and its freshness.

We were impressed that they have even put up the detailed nutritional information on the menu, so for people who are currently on diet or with special concern, no hassles at all. The Vegetarian Meatballs on Pumpkin Curry (HKD 68) was your go-to if you are curry-lover. It was not that spicy as you imagine, just a slight kick. The color came from the pumpkin puree - yes it was made from pumpkin so the natural sweetness from it has also balanced the spice of the curry. And the mixed potatoes were so lovely and sweet!

The Vegetarian Meatballs with Eggplant Caponata (HKD 68) was so nice with the Korean 15 grains rice. The way of handling the vegetarian meatballs was different from the above one. Instead of being baked, this one was being half cooked and half boiled, so the texture was more juicy and soft. Addition to the eggplants, some tomatoes and red pepper have also been added to level-up-ed the flavour. The 15 grains rice was not chewy but rather quite soft and easy to digest (I guess).

Meet and Exceed?

I always enjoy house-made ingredients that made from scratch, which taste much more natural and good for my belly and waistline. The cubed vegetables were all cut without using machine since the method and the running system cannot accommodate certain types of ingredients (for example, all kinds of potatoes), so you can imagine it took much effort and time just by preparing it. They have done that just for the diners to able to enjoy the meal spoon-fully. For sure, these lunch sets have met our expectations.
