Restaurant Review - Aroma Dessert Cafe - Hong Kong

Say Hi to the classic chocolate lava cake!

Impression

I would admit once in a while I am a dessert addict, craving for something sweets regardless of my location and time. (Sometimes it could be in the midnight, and I would satisfy myself, get up and grab my homemade brownie in fridge lol) I know it was weird but this is what happens quite often on me. The other day I was running some errands in Tsuen Wan and when I saw this place, I know I am giving it a try.

Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream (HKD 55) has been nicely presented and we love the way they filled the plate with berries. The vanilla ice cream was freezing, literally super solid like an ice cube. Maybe the chef knows we might not be having it in a short time? The lava cake itself was a decent one, very warm inside with rich and smooth melted chocolate. It was satisfying and has melted my heart at the same time!

Blue Citrus Litchi Soda (HKD 30) was a bit like coke haha. Maybe it was just the feeling of my weird taste buds. I am not very close to blue citrus but this one was nice, especially with the sliced of lemon.

Wrap up

During my visit, I saw that other diners were ordering their fluffy pancakes - seems like their most popular one? I did not have the chance of trying it this time, but will give it a try if I am ever nearby next time.
