Restaurant Review - InnoVeggie - Hong Kong
Vegetarian all-you-can-eat with multi-national dishes
Impression
If you follow this blog long enough, you would know I am no stranger to vegetarian/vegan restaurants. After all, we are made from what we eat. And our body likes what we eat, not what we see. We have visited this place for dinner buffet on a weekend night (HKD 128 per person). The price setting was not aggressive and there's fairly competition nearby.
My favorite would be the Japanese cold noodles - possibly because of the sauce they used and the texture of the noodles. For the hot dishes, the curry one would be the best and I particularly like the light flavor of the curry without being too strong. It matched very well with the Indian pizza, which they offered as side too.
Here are few photos of the hot dishes. Most of them were pan-fried or steamed using non-fancy ingredients. And they used lots of vegetables as the main ingredients instead of some meat-like ingredients.
Wrap up
It's absolutely a break from eating too much meat. However, the dishes used a tad too much oil and most food feels a bit too oily. The variety was good, and it's nice there's free flow drinks available here, for example, tea, soy milk, flower tea and yuza tea. The environment was quite crowded that you might find a hard time to grab the dishes. But I believe that only means this place is popular and people like it a lot haha.
