Restaurant Review - HappyLand - Hong Kong
Kitten cafe serving Western dishes (and desserts)
Impression
Happy is the theme of this place, as you can see outside the cafe "Life short and be happy". I am not sure about the accuracy of the grammar though...Anyways, I came here alone at dinner time so pardon me, I did not order much.

The foie gras in the Foie Gras Risoto (HKD 188) was bigger than I expected. I was not 100% sure but it seemed to be deep-fried so the outer surface was a bit too crispy for my taste. Overall, the foie gras was a good match with the risotto as always. A generous amount of black truffle sauce was also put on top of the dish but I think the sauce paired better risotto itself instead of the meat. The black truffle sauce had such a strong flavour that it covered the taste of the foie gras if eaten together.

The Iced Peach Tea (HKD 48) was nothing out of my expectations - not too sweet which is nice.
Wrap up
The cats were cute. They (I saw two of them) were so adorable that they became the spotlight of the cafe apparently. I have taken many photos with them though they seemed quite quiet. I saw a number of advertising poster about their afternoon tea set in the cafe so I assume the set was their highlight. So if you come here next time, maybe you could give it a try.
